This group of photographs was taken by Steve's grandfather. The year they were taken is unknown, as is the location and the name of the tribe(s) that the images depict. Not of the Motilone nor Guajiro tribes, the white pancake clay on the faces of some of them is surely an identifier as to their tribe, as are perhaps some of the facial markings. But regardless of their identities, these priceless images speak, I believe, for themselves.
